Getting to Tao Resort
- Fly from Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG) in Paris to Antananarivo Airport (TNR) in Madagascar.
- From Antananarivo, take a connecting flight to Antsiranana Airport (DIE) in northern Madagascar.
- Upon arrival, our staff can greet you at the airport and drive you to Plage de Ramena, the local fishing port. From there, we’ll embark on a stunning 30-minute boat ride in a traditional Madagascar fisherboat, enjoying breathtaking views of beautiful cliffs and the mesmerizing Mer d’Emeraude.
Transfer costs:
Airport: The one-way transfer from DIE Airport to Ramena costs 40€ total for groups of 2 to 6 people. For 1 person alone, the price is 50€. Children travel for free.
Boat: The one-way transfer from Ramena to Tao costs 25€ for one person. For groups of 2 or more people, the price is 15€ per person. Children aged 0 to 12 travel for free.

We offer two dining options to suit your needs: Half Board and Full Board. Half Board includes breakfast and dinner, while Full Board covers all three meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Please note that drinks are not included with either option.
Tao Resort is situated on the beautiful Mer d’Emeraude in northern Madagascar. With an average temperature of 27℃ all year, our resort is perfect for a relaxing getaway.
Protected by an extensive coral reef, our lagoon offers ideal conditions for kitesurfing. Enjoy shallow, calm waters and consistent trade winds (5 to 6 Bft) from March to November.
Every year we take a short seasonal break to refresh and prepare for the new season.
The resort is closed from 15 January to 15 March. We are happy to welcome you back from 16 March.
